[ARCHIVED THREAD] - another buffer question

I am just finishing my 24" bull barrel rifle build. it has an ACE skeleton stock with a rifle length buffer tube. the only buffer I have right now is a Hahn precision heavy pistol caliber buffer. can i use that buffer in this rifle, or will it not work or break something?

Not the proper length, could allow the carrier to slide too far into the extension tube and possibly get stuck.
