| i have a colt ar-15 sporter in the 7.62x39 caliber and i am looking for mags and need some assistance in finding them. i am also looking to deck it out and need some suggestions and direction in what would best fit my wants and be cost effective. |

7.62x39 mags for the AR platform are frequently for sale in the equipment exchange. EE: AR Magazines For Sale Just a note on 7.62 AR mags: When you see "Frankenmags" listed, they are AK magazines which have been adapted for the AR platform. They can sometimes be good buys. But they can also be tricky to try to make work. It really all depends on skill level of the person building them. You can also put a WTB (want to buy) ad in the appropriate area. EE WTB: AR Related As for the "decking out", I'd suggest you look through the Industry, AR15, and Armory section of the site for a few days before you start making decisions. See the buttons above (just below the double line of advertisers' links.) Read back a couple of months before asking a lot of questions. This will place you ahead of the learning curve and prevent you from asking too many "newbie" questions which have been answered over and over again. It isn't that folks here don't like new people. It's just that some people don't like seeing the same question asked over and over, so they don't have a lot of patience. Once you have a bit of a knowledge base from the tech forums you will be able to ask better, clearer questions, and thus get better answers. Just remember, seems like everybody on here has their own idea of what gadgets the AR platform absolutely requires. You need to be able to take advice, analyze it, then make your own decisions.
