Just got my arms 40.  Came with a tube of locktight.  Is it necessary to locktite the threads?

Thanks,
David

Yes, additionally, depending the type of mount you use, I would loctite those that secure the spacer to the mount as well.

So, what, exactly, are you locktighting?

I'm about to order a 40L.

Do I need to use locktight on it also?

The #40's consist of a single bolt and a single round type nut. put just a drop of the included lock tight on the threads of the bolt and then tighten the nut. You're done.
