In a nut shell and has been expressed by others too....
Stainless bbl good for target shooting, but is not as durable as chrome lined. Chrome lined bbl good for defense shooting and hard use, but not as accurate as stainless. Your milage may vary, some stainless are very durable (La Rue Stealth)....Some chrome lined barels are pretty accurate when you tweak the loading to see what it likes. |
