first off is a 223 less accurate going through 5.56 chambered barrel bull barrel to be specific? ( i have looked this up and from what i understand they are a little bit)

second question what are some good 18" or 20" bull barrels chambered in either 5.56 or 223? and am i correct that a 1 in 9 twist is the best for most ammos?

thanks in advanced in for the help

dpms makes a good 18 in barrel. yes the 223 will have to jump a bit to get to the rifleing so it has potential to be a bit finicky and id go with a 1-8 unless you know your gonna use heavy bullets then go with 1 in 7

From what I've read ... a barrel for 223 will be most accurate for 223. A barrel for 5.56 will be most accurate for 5.56. I suppose it is all about barrel length, twist rate, bullet weight and ammo quality.

what are the benefits of having a 5.56 bore barrel to the 223 bore? dosnt 223 have more of a variety that 5.56?

The main benefit of having a 5.56 chambered rifle is that you can shoot both .223 and 5.56 while it is widely recommended that you not shoot 5.56 in a .223 chambered gun. Some poopah that advice; see the Ammo Oracle for more info.

Yes.

No, unless you limit your ammo to less than 69gr.
