how many ft pnds are required when attaching a new barrel?

Go hand tight, then wrench to the next notch.

1. Wrench to 30-35 foot pounds 2. Loosen, then do it again 3. Loosen, then do it again 4. Turn to next hole for gas tube (unless you are there already) and you are good to go.
5. Do NOT exceed 80 foot pounds!

Good point, I grease the threads first, then tighten loosen 3 times, then lock her down.
