ok guys... i picked one of these up yesterday for 90 bucks took it to the range today and it preformed like a champ... i was very pleased with this sight comments? |
If you're happy with it then who cares what anyone else thinks. It may not perform well later after a bunch of rounds are placed downrange or after hard use. It was not designed for that like the optic it was cloned after. I guess you won't know until you use it a lot. I've never owned or seen one outside of a catalog. But rest assured you will prolly soon hear "you get what you pay for." |

Not really a clone if it has no magnification. More of a poseur.. |
thats true..... i realized that after i posted i kno usually u get what u pay for, thought i would go out on a limb and see if that applies here. i kno its not the real deal, but for me, its better then irons. ill keep everyone updated as to how it holds up for me |
That looks like the Leapers wall at SHOT! Yes? |

What I don't get is what your looking for.... Absolution?? So you bought a cheap optic for your AR... What are you expecting from it.. So it works... Problem is...So does a tube from a roll of toilet paper with a couple of pieces of string attached to it for a cross-hair...You say it "performed like a champ" what does that really mean??? I get a kick out of every body that buys a $50 optic and runs out to the range and shoots 100rds thru it and then runs back here to tell us all how great it worked... For your style of shooting... it may work great for you for the next 20 years... what does that mean... This is not a dig on you ... your not the first guy to do it. And I'm not made of money either and can't buy everything I would like to.. But to be honest... any $50 optic is a crap-shoot and you take your chances ... And I don't need to convince me otherwise. If your happy with it and it does what you want... then that is value... for you... but you will still always get what you pay for.. no matter what... |
No doubt and people say the GD sucks. Here is my surprised face

I'm curious if there is a black reticle with no illumination for bright daytime use or if the only reticle is the red illuminated one. Someone needs to post a pic looking through the site. Sportsman's Guide has been back ordered on these for a while now. I am curious how many ARCOM'mers bought one but have been ashamed to post about it. |
holy non-existent cheekweld batman! |
You've got to be kidding! The Chinese are renowned for their optics quality even more so than the Germans. I would still like someone to post a pic looking through the site so I can see the reticle. |
