try the bolt in another AR, try another bolt in your AR, that'll tell you where the problem is. I'm betting it's the catch because if it was dragging along the bolt you'd probably notice.
More info about whether this is a new problem, new rifle and you just started with it and had issues, or other new parts.... Pics as previously requested. Obviously SOMETHING is pretty out of spec if you can't even get it to lock in place manually |

Could be a few things...
As previously asked: - What brand of Mag or mags? Some of the Korean Knock offs have been known for this issue. - Have you tried BCG in another? If same issue, could be the bolt. If not, might be the receiver or Bolt catch out of spec. Pics may help... and if you have search ability (member) there are a few threads similar issue. |
