| you are right on the money. That is what happened. When I typed bent, it is not off that much at all. Barely visable to the naked eye, but with calipers I think it would show up. By putting some pressure on the spot where I crunched it will open the upper and allow the BC to slide forward. I was attempting to take off the barrel nut with out useing an action block in the vice. The nut came off and the free float went on. everthing lines up without a problem and I can put the entire AR back together. The problem is the BC catching. Chargeing handle runs through smooth also. The protion of the upper where the mag well is slightly bowed rather then, bent like a can!! |
