| i usually have only used flashiders. but i am in cali and i guess thats a no-no so i'm in the market for a muzzlebreak..who makes the best? thanks to all who reply |
| I personally don't particularly care for brakes due to the noise and flash, but FWIW a shooting buddy of mine and I did an accuracy comparison a while back using the MSTN QCB, A2, and Vortex on the same weapon with the same ammo. The MSTN QCB produced about 0.5 MOA tighter groups, ~1.0 versus ~1.5 for 5 shots at 100y off a bench using a bipod. We didn't try any others. |

I don't know if there is a best but I would look into the PWS FC556. i second this, these suckers really work well
+3 +4 Recoil is easily comparable to .22lr, its like point and click. Roger that, I have three and they make my ARs feel more like shooting a .22 LR. Point click is a good description. I also use AR-Restors (Enidine hydraulic buffers), that makes them work even better. No losing the target due to muzzel rise, it just stays right on target until I'm done shooting. |

I love mine as well.
Can I hijack for a second? As much as I like it I am looking at a OPS, INC R3E2C muzzle break and was wondering if anyone out there has used one? Any sound and reduction reports out there? Is it tolerable? I just want a different look on this build. Thanks! |
