Both are really personal preferences. You are the only one who can decide what you want.
Notched legs give you a positive lockup in the position you choose. Legs that are not notched use a thumbscrew type device to tighten the legs into place at any position. The swivel feature is handy if you are shooting on uneven ground but if your shooting from a bench only it doesn't do anything. |
