Hey what kind of bipod do you guys use for a .308? Basically Im trying to steady my 24" dpms. What do you suggest? Its bone stock as of right now.

I use a Rock Mount bipod I got from Wally World...basically a Harris clone...

harris seems to be the bang for your buck.

how do you like that rock mount pod? i seen one of those at our local wally and was curious about them. is the mounting setup the same as the harris?

I use a Harris bipod. I use the benchrest (BR) model for target shooting and load development. I use the 6-9 inch version for hunting and prone shooting.

hey so do you need any attatchment for the dpms 308? It has the free floating handguard.

Doesn't the tube have a sling stud or is it at least threaded for one?

The Harris attaches to the stud and then your sling, if you use it, can attach to the bottom of the Harris.
