[ARCHIVED THREAD] - bolt prep?

I am putting together my first AR tonight. I have a couple of quick questions.

Do I have to prep the bolt, i.e. soak it in oil, do the hulla or anything of the such?
I noticed that it is a lot tighter than the m16 bolts I am used to at work.

Will cutting oil work for the assembly of the lower?

No need to soak it in oil. Just lightly oil it, if at all.

Will cutting oil work for that? Or I have some gun oil used for cleaning. Is that good enough?
