| My Colt 1:7 is getting a little "long in the tooth" for competition use. I bought it used with about 500 rounds through it(so he said). I have used it for about 3 years and have another 1500 rounds through it, mostly moly coated Black Hills 75 grainers. For 80 grain reloads I have to seat the bullet waaaay out to keep the jump down to around .015. I think that the barrel have had more rounds through it than the original owner stated. Anyway I would like to get the barrel borescoped. Does anyon know a 'smith that does this as a service. Someone at Camp perry this year offered it and I didn't have the time to get it over to him...anyone know who that was? TIA |
