anyone take a pic of their buffer retainer pin so i can see if i'm possibly missing a part? i replaced the buffer tube backing plate (went to a ambidextreous sling plate)and when i took the buffer spring assembly out (i was trying to do two things at once) and ended up shootin my buffer spring across the room.found all my parts,.....put everything back together, and now buffer pin dont seem to wanna stay in place when i charge the handle. a pic would make sure i got it orientated right, pin UNDER the buffer,or to the lip of the nipple of the pin ....not sure you can put it in any way and be effective. any pics would be appreciated.

| was just coming back to the thread to say never mind! duh! i didnt have the extension tube threaded in far enough to hold the retainer pin down.the buffer itself was the only thing holding the pin. guess i need to get more intimate w/ my rifle ,eh? thanks anyhow for posting the googley shots! |
