I think the mil spec buffers should all be pretty good, I don't have a ton of experience with too many different ones, I'm sure some of the more experienced guys can shed more light on to the subject, There are differences though, some have extra drain holes for example, some have just one in the rear of the tube and some have 3 extra ones in the stock detent pocket. The one I have been eyballing is this one offered up by POF, it has carrier cradle extensions to ensure the buffer tube is always supported. I don't have experience with it but I am going to get one for my next build and try it out. I bought one from joebobs that was very nice quality, I have no complaints. Nice finish, stock fits nice and snug and overall it is good quality.
