There are two finite controls...it is not an "eyeball" shot for the carbine receiver extension install. 1) Fore and aft This is controlled by the tube buffer retainer interface. The tube is threaded in until the buffer retainer (plunger) is captive and the tube is very close to the pin. There is only one correct spot if everything is in spec (the keyway must be in the 6 o'clock position) 2) Left and right This is controlled by the keyway on the bottom of the tube and the key on the endplate. |
