i would like some advice on buffers. i want to reduce the muzzle jump on my bushmaster carbine. i have installed a wolff extra power buffer spring in it but have not had the time to go to the range to test it. i have read alot about shooters using a 9mm or "H" heavy buffer to reduce recoil. can i use one of these buffers in conjunction with the heavy spring. if so which one would be best and where can i get one of good quality. i don't want to spend the money on a hydraulic buffer such as the enidine. my wife thinks my obsession with my ar has gone a little to far anyway. i guess i have the dreaded black rifle disease. guess what i love it.

I cant tell any difference between a Standard Buffer and a H buffer

But a 9mm buffer is totally different

Never had any trouble useing a 9mmm buffer

plus they ONLY COST 25 bucks

RRA makes 2 types
