I just put together my build, but now I have a big problem.  I can not push in or out my rear take down pin.  Only way to get it in, is to use a hammer to drive it.  When I do this it pushes out a little bit of metal.  Then to take it out is use a hammer and punch.  Its a spikes lower with a DPMS upper.  I've tried to file down any burs and checked under the back block and its not pushing up.

Any  idea's on what else could be keeping it the pin from sliding in easily.

It's new.  It'll loosen up over time.

Any noticeable rubs on the pin itself?  Did you insert the detent pin pointy side first?

Check to see if if the upper is hitting on the extension tube, I had the same problem and had to file a little. Now it is tight and runs fine. Just a thought.

I got the lower with the parts kit put in it from spikes.  With out the upper on it, it slides in easy.

That's a real tight upper/ lower fit.See if you can figure out what's the culprit...check the buffer tube.Maybe you can polish the hole in the upper where it fits in thru and lube it up some.
