I had a Del-Ton middy for a while but wanted something different. i did find out that Del-Ton BCG's won't work in DPMS or Smith and Wesson AR barrels. so i stole my brothers out of his gun since he isn't using it and in case i want to go shoot it before my new BCG shows up. but anyway, i sold my Delton barrel to fund the DPMS bbl purchase (C&R discount is great)

here are the specs:
TNW Billet upper
YHM lightweight Rifle length FF tube
Grip Pod
Magpul MBUS set
DPMS 4 rail gas block
DPMS DCM/NM 20" SS 1x8 barrel with A2 birdcage
DPMS A2 Stock
Stag lower with Del-ton parts kit.
Temporary BCG from a S&W M&P-15
CAA scope mount and Centerpoint 4x16 scope. before you tell me about this the only real reason it's on there is for load development and testing accuracy and i already had them. i will probably be putting on a nice scope later down the road in most likely a Larue mount.....baby steps here, good glass and mounts aren't in the budget right now. this scope is actually very clear and holds zero great. i had it on my .243 this year for hunting and it held up fine.
and i don't want to here about the 'crappy' DPMS barrel and i should have did it right and went with a WOA or something similar. My buddy who shoots Service rifle matches has no problems with his and his brother has one that shoots great too. he recommended it, he knows his shit, and i trust him.

function testing it loads and extracts dummy rounds i made up of the same bullet i'll be shooting, no burs in the chamber, crown is very nice, no burs on it either. the barrel is very nice in my opinion. i probably won't get to shoot it until after the new year sometime

it weighs in at around 8.5-9 pounds with a loaded mag

but here it is.
