I recently purchased 2 bushmasters and I was wondering if anybody else got theirs with two different color upper and lower receivers. My uppers are black while the lowers are are a blueish gray. Is this normal?  I thought bushmaster parked both upper and lower receivers black.

It happens from time to time with all companies.  Black is one of the hardest color to annodize and get consistant; also the uppers & lowers are rarely done at the same time.

One thing you can try is to rub some CLP on the lower as when they are 'bone dry' they can look a bit greyish.

Try putting mineral oil on the lower and let it soak for a while . It usually will darken up the lower just a little more than the CLP. Once the mineral oil sets for a while, wipe off the excess and then put on some CLP. Ive done this on several mis-matched AR's and it works pretty well.
