i have a flat top upper with an eotech, i want to replace the front sight with a fold down/ flip up sight(don't like the co-wittness). has anyone done this??? how difficult is it, or am i better off getting a raised mount for the eotech.

remove the flashhider and then knock the pins out of the front sight, replace with pri.
im sure there is a tacked thread with "do it yourself"

Another option is use the Bushmaster bolt-over flip down. You cut down your front sight and bolt it on.
