CH has nothing to do with the caliber of the firearm. It must fit the platform. So, anything on the AR-15 platform takes the AR-15 CH. Any caliber on the AR-10 or LR-308 platform take the longer .308 CH.
There may be exceptions to this, such as I know the PRI GasBuster and BCM Gunfighter will not fit my pre-2004 DPMS .22 LR conversion and the AR-5.7 x 28 does not use a standard CH but those are the only two exceptions I can think of off hand. |
