looking for a sighting system for my first build.
i am going with the flat top upper from del ton.

i like the idea of a red dot sight 1x or 3x

cant justify another 400-500 dollars to the wife right now.

any cheap recomendations.

are there any decent red dots with around 3moa dots  for cheap??

please help, spent all my cash buying parts to build my first rifle.

was looking at cheaper than dirt and thinking about
a 30mm red dot sight
they sell rings to
short thru extra tall
what size rings would i need to be above a absolute co witness of my front sight??
medium? tall?

The SPOT mkIII from CS Gunworks works pretty well.  $150, has a 3MOA dot, comes with a cantilever mount that will give you the correct co-witness.

+1 on the SPOT........that's as cheap as I would go. Watch the EE for a used one. I got mine for $65, yes that's right, $65 last year

Do a search in the EE and you will find this Aimpoint clone. I just got one off his ebay site, i should have it in a day or two.

You can go with an Aimpoint clone. Those can be found in the EE or on 1337tactical.com. The ones on 1337 come in 3 diffrent mount configurations under a $100.
