Has anyone tried the invisiblesight 552 eotech clone?

They are on ebay. Have lifetime warranty.

What a terrible name for a product.

Also, note that it's $24 shipping. The warranty is pretty much worthless. So what if it's lifetime? It costs you $48 to ship it there and back if you need warranty work.

Clone eotech should only go with clone ar15s...as in airsoft or gsg-5s

I do not recommend knock offs. They suck! A friend learned that the hard way.

I saw Bushnell MPs for $125 a couple of weeks ago - that would be a far better use of about the same amount of money. The warranty would be a little bit more realistic as well.

The clone Eotechs are more reliable than the originals.

Just curious...what's wrong with a real Eotech 552 that would preclude you from buying one with the exception of price? I know why folks buy clones but if your screen name in any way indicates your current profession & what you might be using your AR for, I would hope that you will buy a real one. But no, I have not tried the clone so I cannot say with any integrity that I know what they are like. I had a Fakepoint years ago & it was ok but nothing takes the place of the real thing & the quality that is put into them.

I can tell you from my box of "cheap" optics that it is not the place to be stingy. And if you are an L.E.O. you are putting yours and someone elses life at risk using them. I bought a Fakepoint to mount on a .22. It worked but just made me buy a real one. I found it used at a great price. Would have been $60 cheaper had I not bought the clone first.

And thats bullshit. My 512 has been reliable on my entry carbine. No battery drain, fuzzy rectacle, or anything else. I wouldn't expect the 552 to be any different. L3 has had problems. But no "Clone" is going to be  better. The clones are not holograph either.
