anyone try the cmmg pencil barrel upper? i just seen the pencil barrel one for the first time and im interested in saving every bit of weight for my 8yr old.

I'm using one 16" to develop an upper that'll work work with the Slide Fire Stock.
I also have one that's 20", done up with the triangular handguard Vietnam Style.

Another manufacturer is coming out with an ultra light weight barrel that should be dead nuts accurate and priced right too. Hopefully in the not to distant feature.
The CMMG light weight is a good choice, but it's not an Ultra Light Weight.

this one will be for my 8yr primarily. but i'll probly end up building myself one after i play with this one. sage rats are out in full force already around here and the weather still sucks. who's gonna be do this ultra light weight one?

New/old company starting up. Real interesting talking with him. He's been an engineer for major manufacturers over 20 years. Decided to use his ideas for himself.
You would know his work. It's ultra reliable.
