just as much as the play between the upper and lower does, which is none.

No effect unless it wobbles so much you can't even aim the rifle.

Really the only way that a wobble would cause any aiming issues would be if the wobble was between your front ande rear sights on the upper.

No, but it does annoy me, which is why none of my rifles have the standard m4 stock.
