Hi i bought a colt accurized the trigger feels smooth i need to know the pull weight of the trigger thanks anybody |
| The trigger on mine was right at 5 1/2 pounds...before I replaced it. These rifles are VERY accurate, the trigger is one of the few recommended upgrades. Try the 55grn NBT. Georgia Arms reloads this round; it turned out to be the most accurate load in my rifle. |

Quoted: Thanks mike for the info by the way how do you like that colt accurized.i cant wait to fire mine what ammo shoots best iam going to try 60grvmax Understand there are many rounds that this rifle will shoot (hell mine shoots Q3131A sub MOA at the 200 yard line), the data below produces a round "that in good air" (lite-still conditions) will shoot 1/2 MOA out to 800 yards. For my money, ya can't get a better off-the-shelf long range AR than the CR6724. Add a Jewell 2-stage and a good mil-dot Leupold and this rifle will make a believer outta the most ardent skeptic. (btw, I recently replaced the B-Square COLT scope mount, which we had shimmed on ours to reach the 1000 yard line, w/ a new "Mamba" one piece mount that has a 25 MOA cant built in, sold by MidSouth Shooters Supply, resonably priced and very heavy duty, pre trued too) Here's what we use exclusively in our CR-6724s, 24" Accurized 1/9" rifles: LOAD DATA: Sierra 77grn, moly or non-moly (FWIW, we used to shoot moly exclusively, but have since change due to the cleaning aspect of moly, which takes more time to clean) 24.0 grns. Accurate 2460, (Hot Load), [red]DO NOT PUSH[/red], start low & work up - 2850fps + or - from 24" 1/9, loaded into once fired Remington Brass Remington 7.5 small rifle benchrest primers These are loaded mag length - 2.250" + or - NOTE: As it is well known that Accurate Powders MAY vary a bit from lot to lot, we buy our powder in 8# lots exclusively and always recheck the load, when switching to the next 8# lot, be safe. Come-ups for 24" Colt Accurized Rifle (6724) w/ Leupold Vari-X III, 4.5x14 w/ turrets and Mil-Dots 100- zero 200-1 1/2 min 300-3 3/4 min 350-4 min 400-5 1/2 min 450-7 1/2 min 500-9 1/4 min 550-11 1/2 min 600-12 3/4 min 700-17 3/4 min 800-23 min 900- no target 1000-35 1/2 min (34-36 depending on humidity) This load is bar non the most accurate load for this rifle. I have personally seen 6 CR6724s and each and every one will reach it's full potential with this load, which was given to us by the man who introduced us (Dad, Uncle and myself) to the rifle. Round goes sub-sonic between the 900 and 1000 yard line. Should work in yours. Mike |
