Pictures could help sir. You picture shows you have a large pin lower receiver. You need to use the large (.170) pins and parts, not the standard small pin parts (.154). |

Colt FCG come in mil-spec (.154) and Colt large pin (.170)..
If the lower is virgin, then it's a large pin size receiver, and the anodizing just undersized the hole, and the correct pins/FCG will fit perfectly (pins will need to driven in the first time). If there was a FCG in play before, measure the pins, since someone may have installed slightly larget mil-spec pins (over size), and why the receiver holes are larger. If that is the cause, then you will need to use the old pins, and ream the New mil spec size FCG channels to fit them. |

nope its not a large pin. i tried that pin and no where near the correct size. it measures about .165 is the pin .165 or the holes? Ditto, go back and use the new pins as a base line to make sure that your calipers are measuring correctly (new pins should be .154, and verify the old pins again for size). Also check the old pins against the old FCG parts channels, since the old pins may have been a tad undersized for the .170 FCG to begin with, with the old pins fitting too loose to the old FCG channels. |
