You have to decide what you are looking to do.
CMMG has the best deal going for reliable kits and uppers. Right now uppers start at $350 with a free stainless up grade. A conversion kit, depending on you barrel twist, will give you 2-3" at 50 yards from a 5.56 barrel. My CMMG M4 LE .22 upper gives me less than 1" at 50 yards. Both are reliable and have many options and features not available with other kits. As suggested, stop in the rimfire forum. Tons of information. If you have any questions, shoot me an IM. Dave |
