I've owned a core rifle before. Great gun. It hasn't failed me, but I can't say anymore about it, since I sold it. I'm currently building my own AR at the moment. I'd go with Core again.

It is a special model specific to Rural King stores.  From what I can see it is a regular scout model, with the exception of a low pro gas block and the keymod rail.

They make solid stuff, but it's usually pretty overpriced for what you get.

Guy that works for me just bought a Core 15 from Rural King for $699 with a hard case. I don't call that over priced.
No bullshit warranty.

I visited their facility once while passing through Ocala.  If their assemblers are anything like the goobers working the gun counter I would pass.

I have been to the store twice and was treated great. In fact one employee took me in the back and went through the entire supply of blem lowers to pick out the best two sequenced numbered.

Then being busy that day, he took my list of parts, told me to go have lunch down the road, and when I returned my background call in had been done and a box of parts were waiting for me.

My online orders have always been right, decently priced, shipped fast, and I have yet to have an issue with anything I've bought from there.

Goobers? Maybe you should look in the mirror.

My Core 15 has been fine, the only issue to report is that it prefers polymer mags.  Metal ones are loose and tip forward causing load failures.  Not a big deal to me since I mostly run pmags

Bought the woman a regular Core for Christmas last year.  No complaints.

Close friend of mine has one and while he has changed quite a bit on it since getting it, I have never seen it give him problems. I would consider one if I were in the market for an entry-level complete carbine.

Screw it not worth getting someone else's thread locked.  Good luck with your Core.
