I have a Bushmaster 24" Varminter that will shoot that good or better with the right ammo, optics and range conditions.

I have a 20" V-Match that is very very accurate. My 20yo son and I have both shot 1/2 MOA groups at 100 yards with Federal Value Pack 50 grain JHP, many times. I had the barrel threaded and put a Smith Vortex on it and I put the lower off my Bushy Varminter with their 2 Stage Match trigger on it. For a chrome lined barrel, it is a hellva shooter.
For any rifle it is a hellva shooter.

Didn't think they made the V match with 24" barrel.  My V match came with a 20" military barrel.  The Varminter comes with a 24" barrel, but its not the military barrel.  I believe its non chrome lined and heavy profile.  This barrel is accurate.  The military chrome barrel is hit and miss.

I think the Varminter is capable of 1/2 MOA but the V match, at least my V match, wouldn't even come close for me.  I ended up getting the DCM NM barrel and swapping out the crappy FF tube with an aftermarket and now it shoots under 3/4 MOA 10 shot groups with the right loads.

I shot sixty (60) rounds of Radway Green out of my 20" V-Match (Bushy Match Trigger & Nikon Monarch 3.3-10x44 scope) into 2.25 inches at 100 yards.
That is two thirty (30) round mags and my eyes get pretty tired so I didn't take all day doing it and also that is 20+ year old surplus ammo.

I have put the Federal 50 grain JHP Value Paks into under 1 MOA many many times, usually 1/2 moa with that ammo. I also have a Bushy Varminter with their DCM non-chrome 24" barrel which is somewhat better, but not that much. (JP Trigger/hammer & Zeiss 6.5-20x50 scope)

I have always been very very impressed with my V-Match and BTW, Bushmaster does indeed offer it in a 24" barrel.

From the Bushy website:

I believe it with the correct ammo, optics, trigger and of course shooter.
My V-Match 20inch wiith a tuned 2 stage trigger, Leupold Tactical 3-9x40
I have shot many 5/8 inch groups with Hornady 55 V-max factory ammo.
I have one or two in 9/16. So I think 1/2 is possible.
A great shooting rifle

For ease of cleaning and just enjoyment I find it to be one of my favorite rifles.
