Nope! I work for one of the largest Telecommunications Companys in the world and if I drink on the job or show up for the job intoxicated, I will be terminated on the spot! If the owner of your company allows you to drink on the job thats perfectly OK! Quoted:
At my work everyone drinks at least occasionally. 4 total employees. Boss opens first beer maybe around 1pm. Employee #1 opens first beer sometime way before lunch. Employee #2 doesn't drink every day but def. some days. And I drink on some Fridays and days when there's no work and I'm bored to death. Our customers see us drink and don't seem to mind. Often times we are "tipped" with a case of beer. My brother, who is an investment banker can't get over the fact that we can drink at work. He thinks it's hilarious and tries to imagine what it would be like if he walked around his office sipping a cold one
So I'm just interested to see who here can/does drink on the job. |
| Not where I work now but at my last company (Civil Engineering) on one of our lunch outing my drink bill was more than everyones lunch and the boss was buying. He kinda had to shut it down after a while though when the secretaries started getting bombed at lunch. They all stopped no one else did and not another word was spoken. I miss liquid lunches. |
