So you're saying your SF and you store your weapons dry?  Or do you actually shoot them unlubed too?

sorry if my first post didnt seem like a question but anybody got a guess how long an M4 would last bone dry?

an unused m4 doesn't have to be lubed, but should be lubed as it is used. that said a rifle used twice a year probly should be lubed twice a year.

no need to worry 'bout defending that missle site, you'll be ash if it's attacked.

It would last exactly 1,028 rounds before it malfunctions.

Maybe you should get a job at the pentagon.

That way, you can find even bigger national security gaps and publish them on the internet.

You're not even SELLING the info...your GIVING it away.

Thanks.

i am AD military but any info i released is public unclassified info, but yeah i see how a vulnerability could been seen as an OPSEC issue, but im sure the weapon would function enough to function for awhile.... i hope. i dont think anybody could use this info to undermine our security.

That's a good one, you sound like the douchbag on myspace that got some guys killed by "thinking" that the info he posted wouldn't help the rags.

There's no way to tell I suppose.  Regular weapons maintenance is key.  If it has to be beat into the heads of these troopers, then so be it.  Piss poor maintenance is what makes rifles choke.
