You're daughter think that things ugly?  She right. All AR's fit that profile.  How's she shoot?  Most kids will like things as simple as possible, and that leads to better shooters.
They have years to get messed up with things not needed, or crutches

Nothing wrong with a bipod. Nice looking gun. Good job on getting your daughter into shooting. My 14 year old daughter moved up to AR's and .38 revolvers this year from .22's.
