i see lots of comparisons between aimpoint nockoffs and between aimpoint vs. eotech.
what abous a comparison between real aimpoints? how soes the cvilian 9000sc stack up against the military model aimpoints? is is just a lack of features such as nightvision capability? or are the 9000sc models not suited very well for a fighting rifle? im never going to use nightvision with my rifle or anything like that so i will gladly sacrafice the feature to save money. |
| Aimpoint makes a great optic, no matter what model. Its just a lack of situational awareness where people confuse features as "must have needs". Some run with the crowd, just like kids in high school...you gotta wear what the cool kids wear to be accepted. I hear Aimpoint is now making a RDS that can also cook your MRE...too bad everyone with out that feature is gonna starve in combat or when the SHTF. |

You are on the right track. If you like tubes sticking with anything by aimpoint will not be a bad thing. Keep what you need in mind and don't let the masses shame you into something you don't need.
Another thing I want to add since you asked about "fighting things". When do you deploy? How long will your tour last? How long will you be away from a supply depot? How many threats will you encounter? Think about what I am saying and apply your TRUE situation and the TRUETH about how the "fighting" will take place to your buy. |

Another thing I want to add since you asked about "fighting things". When do you deploy? hopefully never How long will your tour last? as short as possible How long will you be away from a supply depot? any supplies i can stockpile or steal will be all i have How many threats will you encounter? hopefully none Think about what I am saying and apply your TRUE situation and the TRUETH about how the "fighting" will take place to your buy. basicly what im tryig to say is i dont PLAN on ever needing to use this gun in a fight, but i want to have teh highest quality gun for the money i can. hypotheticly, if i had to use thsi gun in a fight, i want it to be top notch. also, this gun will probably get quite a bit of ammunition put through it in its lifetime at the range and such. so i want an optic that will last over time. |
