well i need your help!  i decided i wanted to deer hunt with an AR so i am going to build one for that purpose.  i decided to go with 7.62x39 since .223 isn't allowed in MN.  i also decided i want it to be a dissy, but don't know what length gas system will work with 7.62.  i would like to use the rifle length gas system , but don't know if it will work.  so my question is have any of you built a 7.62x39 dissy, and what length gas system did you use?  any other problems you had with this set-up would help to?

thanks!

Sorry to be of no real help,  but 7.62x39 is not a real popular caliber in the AR because quality high cap magazines are hard to find.

i hear you there!  i only need a low mag capacity since it'll only be for deer hunting.  i was also contemplating the 6.8 SPC or the new .30 HRT.  i decided on the 7.62x39 for two reasons. parts availability and being able to buy hunting ammo from the local gas station.
