i'm looking for a 16" 1/9 chrome lined heavy barrel with mid lenth handguards (i think), anybody know where this can be found?  M4 feed ramps would be a plus.

*edit* oh yeah, it's gotta be made from 4150

Colt 6721 upper is everything except the mid length handguards...

no...  nobody makes it...  the closest is a:

RRA midlength 1x9 twist in 4140

or a

CMMG midlength 1x7 twist in 4150 (Contact Giffman

i guess you could take a 1x9 4150 bushmaster barrel... then put a larue gas block or jigga block on it... and then put a midlength tube over it....

now that's about close enough.  when i last spoke with cmmg on the phone they told me they wouldn't be offering a 16" midlength til mid february.  if i'm understanding those specs, that's an HBAR, right? not "light under the guards"?  i can live with 1x7.  thanx for the info.  i've been lugging my safe queen around, on duty, and can't wait 'til i've got a "worker".

as for bushy, i hate 'em  NOTHING bm on my rifle, EVER!

What abvout Armalite?  Sans the M4 feed ramps most likely and made of 4140 steel, but it should be HBAR midlength with chrome lining in 1/9 twist.  

I think the CMMG is going to be "mid weight".  It should have a profle somewhere in between a HBAR and a Gov't.

ADCO sells a chrome lined mid length heavy barrel. No M4 ramps on it though. I have one I just used for a build and it works well.
