looking at the xps2-0 and exps2-0 i like the exps since its QD and lower 1/3. now does anyone have any experiance with this mounting system. how does it keep its zero once removed and how stable is it and does it ever loosen up.
for 150 more than the xps i have options at looking at 3rd party lower 1/3 mounts but if there isnt a difference i might as well get it build into the sight. |

I like the QD EXPS mount and lower 1/3rd cowitness.
It's a strong mount--you tighten the screw until it's pretty hard to close--as long as you push down and forward while mounting it, it'll hold a return to zero as good as any aftermarket mount. 0 MOA to 1/2 MOA off tops. I pay extra for the 1/3rd and nice, simple and streamlined mount (not sure if the EXPS has better waterproofing than the XPS or not). |
