after the recent purchase of rra elite car4 with tactical carry handle I got a steal on an eotech 512.
any ideas on what components would be ideal for rear sight, cowitnessing capable mount.

ditch the tac handle and buy a real BUIS.. mount the EOTech on the second or third rail address from the front of your receiver.

-Remove tac handle
-Mount EOtech directly to flat top
-Add an ARMS40
-Sell tac handle on EE to offset BUIS cost

Mount Eotech on a Larue EOtech mount.  It is by FAR the best way to mount an EOtech.  Sell the carry handle to make up cost for BUIS.

I just put my EOTech near my front sight base on my MM FF tubs.

I use a GG&G, with a YHM riser, and it works perfect.  Alot of us feel that the Eotech has a better sight picture with a riser.  I don't have a pic through the optic, but maybe someone else does.

My 551 is mounted on T6 mark and I use the old arms 40 BUIS

I dont know about the RRA Tack handle as far as the eotech goes

works just fine for me

I have heard good things about Larue

but wont say it the BEST WAY to mount a EOTECH   ( yet )

I currently have an A3 that the EO sits on. I also have a LaRue BUIS QD that just does fit on the rail with the EO.

I also love my LaRue Eotech mount. I was hesitant to spend the money but it was worth it.

I mounted my EOTech right on the flattop with a A.R.M.S. BUIS right behind it.

I originally had my Eotech mounted on the flat top of my RRA Entry Tactical.

I swapped the handle for the RRA dominator mount and I like it a lot.  The Eotech witnesses just over the irons and seems to be a more natural viewing plan for me.

There was not an additional charge for me as I could pick either handle with the new gun.  I think they run about 125 or so but with a built in sight it is reasonable.

I'll see about posting a pic in a few.

I like my ML2 and 551 to co witt absolute  
wich is one reason I wont pay for the LARUE YET

I wonder if and how the Eotech  magnifier will work without any EXTRA mount
