I've got a couple of modified ciener .22lr kits to use in dedicated upppers.  I would like to find an unmodified chamber adapter in case I decide to run the ceiner kit in a standard barrel.  I've seen comments before about where the chamber adapter can be purchased seperately, but can't seem to locate those threads.

Any help would be appreciated.

Both CMMG and Ciener list their chamber adapters as being available for $35.00 on the instruction sheets shipped out the their conversions.  Spikes is also about to ship .22lr conversions so they may be offering seperate parts as well. I bet if you sent CMMG or Spikes an email or called them direct they would order you an adapter no problem...

(I've had pretty good luck with both CMMG and Spikes so far)

The only thing Im not sure about is what kind of modifications your bolt has and if the standard .22lr chamber adapter will work with your exsisting bolt.

I bet some more seasoned 22'ers will advise....

Hope this helps.

No reason it shouldn't work with Spikes. I had a Ciener originally and Spikes put a dedicated adapter on it. I also got a chamber adapter so I could use it either way.

Thanks for the info.  It's just what I needed.

Neither of my bolts have had any modification.  Only the chamber adapters have been modified.

Yeah, if it's what has become the standard modification for use with a dedicated barrel, the adapter has a hole close to 1/2" to fit over the breech stub of a Spike's or M1S type barrel ( which I think is the same as the MKII Kuehl).
In '94 I bought the spare standard chamber adapter from Ciener in anticipation of cutting one up to use my bolt in a dedicated application.Nice to be able to switch to a conversion if the need to use a .223 upper arises.
