well, that was easy..... first build is done and ready to function fire. Just a simple Palmetto kit, A2 carry handle and Anderson receiver with FDE furniture. I have three more receivers sitting waiting for the uppers to arrive, and still need one more than that for everything I have inbound.... my only gripe is that the stock is sloppy on the buffer tube.... so that will get changed out for a Magpul one here soon.... (thats what is in stock at the local Fleet/Farm....)  sorry the lighting sucks, its 3 am here and I couldnt sleep... :D |
Reminds me of one of my earlier builds. Simple, functional, inexpensive. Of course the first one I built was all kinds of heavy, 20" hbar, solid aluminum handguard, thordsen stock. I call it my ugly stick.  I'm sure you'll start modding it soon enough.  |

I may as well add this one on here.... second kit came this morning, so of course I dropped everything to play with my "adult Legos".... This one is also a Palmetto upper and parts kit, with Magpul MOE furniture in OD green.... Just as easy to do as the first one....   Will see which one comes up next, one of the SBR's (pending parts kits and Form 1's which I will drop on Jan 1) or the Bear Creek 20" upper thats inbound.... |

That would cause extreme sloppiness. |

I’m into it for less than $550 and that’s including the SS and a KynShot hydraulic buffer…everything was new to include the receiver. With the buffer, I can squeeze off singles. The slower rate of fire makes it a fantastic shooter.

Congrats on your first "build." The tragic (and fun) part of getting black rifle disease is after you assemble your first one, you want to assemble another one. My first build was a heavy barrel varmint rifle. It was followed by a DMR style rifle, an M4gery, and a bunch of various configurations. |

Im currently up to three fully built, and 4 uppers waiting on parts kits..... 2 will be SBR'ed after the first of the year (recievers already out being engraved) the rest are a nice blend of different colors and configurations.... these are potato chip rifles... no one can have just one... :D |
