i just put together my first lower (essential arms) with a RRA LPK and the safety selector feels really weird.  it has a bit of wiggle and a very clunky feel when changing from safe to fire. i was just wondering what could cause this as i know for a fact that i put everything together correctly, but it feels very weird.  ive handled probably 20 ARs and none have felt like this.

Make sure you didn't bend the spring over when you installed the pistol grip. Pointy end of the plunger goes in the lower first. Wiggle is odd unless the holes in the lower are out of spec. You might just need to lube the slot in the selector. My $0.02!

Last two RRA selectors I have seen and installed were total crap. By that I mean the detent holes and channel between them were as cast with rough surfaces and edges, protruding burrs, and pits. I spent an hour with a small dremel and jewelers file cleaning up the transitions from the detent holes to the channel and polishing everything as best I could (it felt better at that point but still not on parr with another DPMS kit). I was very disappointed in the last two LPK's from RRA (and here I thought I was upgrading from a DPMS LPK). I didn't have a lot of options but from what I have seen I would never buy a RRA LPK again.
