Just bought a J&T Lightweight Tactical Kit upon the advice of a friend...

Standard-
16" fluted barrel HBAR 1x9 twist barrel
“Shorty” tactical buttstock
DuckBill Pistol grip

Upgrades-
Phantom flash hidder
Chrome lining

What do you think? Anyone familiar with J&T products?

What manufacturer of lower are you putting that kit on - and have you decided on a rear sight? Removable carry handle?

Nice kit. Not sure how much the fluting actually lightens the HBAR, after you get it, compare it to an M4 or gov't profile and let us know. The entry stock your getting...let us know how you like that also, I'm intrested in how it fits.
Any idea who makes their barrels?

BUIS/Optics- not sure... will likely try some standard rear iron sight and go from there. I'm thinking of a co-witness approach.

A friend of mine has the "Shorty" stock and it seemed to fit me well (even at 6'4"). The lower is a Superior Arms, I believe. I'll post a picture when I get it in.
