| Hey guys, I have lurked around on here for a couple years and have learned a ton. Finally decided to try my hand at building my own. I have an outta the box dpms carbine. I wanna build a couple of a1 or a2 style 20 inch plain janes to have for some plinkers/extra to pass out to my posse shtf. Not really concerned about being completely period correct or anything just want fixed buttstock carry handle sight and front sight post on a 20 inch bbl. No need for a rail cuz I won't b attaching any gear. I'm tryin to scrounge up a couple lowers right now. I will be posting my progress as I go and look foward to u guys input! It won't b a super fast build cuz I'm on a budget but we won't get to an end if I don't start at a beginning right. Can't wait to get started |

ok, so i decided to try my hand and the lower assembly. i made it throught with no major probs. somehow i didnt lose a detent lol cuz i sure sent one across the room a couple times, but i finally figured it out and got it all put together. everything safety checks and function checks. put my dpms carbine upper on it just to test fire it and everythings good to go i think. i made a video of the shoot and i will link it if anyones interested in watching it( no redneck jokes though ;p ). anyway, here is the pics
