for the longest time ive had fixed scopes on my hunting rifles.like the fact that theres nothing to play around with. the 4x in perticular. from 25 - 300 yards. 100 moa, 300 3-4 inch groups. tryed the 2.5 power ok but thr reticul i had was to big and the condition of the innards was questionable. want for my ar a 2.5  with german reticul. but this is hard to find. any help would be appreciated.

The Weaver V3 is one hell of a scope for the $$$. I don't think you will find a better low power variable for twice the price.

I got mine from Natchez for $139

The Leatherwood CMR has as good a glass as the Weaver and its loaded with features. I think its a better deal than the Weaver, but I really like having all features which many may not need. They run about $250, but some guys have gotten them cheaper ($25 midway discount code). Its definitely not a German reticle, but I love the BDC they use.
