i was woundering how much of a pain it is to take a the Front sight housing off a rock river arms ar  with a 20 barrel and put on yankee hill free float handguards? the dosnt seem to be much to do( knock out a pin and pull the frount sight down the barrel, right??) i was just woundering how you orientate it when you put it back on? Meaning you have to perfectly in line with the rear sight or your line of sight will be off side to side. ?? thanks for your help!

When you remove the pins there are "notches" drilled in the barrel. Line up the notches with the holes in the FSB, re-install the pins and you are good to go.

The pins are slightly tapered. Be sure to reference the pins, so you can reinstall them in the position and direction they were in originally. Barrel vice jaws help a lot here!
