| I'm putting together an upper using a 12 inch alg EMR on a barrel with mid length gas. I want to put the front site as far forward as possible. The rail section interfered with the gas block. I removed some material with a die grinder but I don't want to remove much. How much clearance do I need between the block and the inside of the handguard itself? I know the barrel is going to have movement when fired but how much? |
