My 20" A2 has the front sight base (pinned to barrel) canted to the right enough to require 12.5 moa right windage to zero.
what is the fix for this?!? |

The easy solution is to contact the manufacturer if it was already on the barrel when you got it.
Otherwise, there isn't a whole lot to be done. A gunsmith could crank your rear sight over to match the cant of the front sight enough to hit close to POA. BTW, who made it? |

Depends, Shotgun the upper open, and tell me if the center area between the barrel feed ramps against the front take down lug is also canted off index the same amount as well. If the bottom center of the feed ramps is also canted against the center line of the front take down lug the same amount that the FSB is canted, then the barrel rotated in the upper barrel socket when the barrel nut was being tightened, and the entire barrel can be slipped back to the correct index with nothing more than a non-marring leather mallet. If the barrel feed ramps are center on the front take down lug, but the front sight is canted, then the FSB was not correctly cross pinned to the barrel correctly, and the correct solution for a brand new barrel, is a replacement barrel that the FSB was indexed correctly to the barrel extension pin instead. |
