When you say it came with a gas block, do you mean a low-profile gas block or one with picatinny rails on top? If it has rails you can mount a detachable front sight. If it doesn't, your alternatives are a hanguard rail mounted front sight (provided you have a railed handguard), or to get a set-screw type gas block with a folding front sight provision or rails, assuming the current gas block isn't pinned to the barrel. You can't put on the standard front sight block because those are drilled and pinned to the barrel, and that is done during barrel mfg. Your other alternative is to buy a regular m4 profile barrel assembly, which will come with the FSB, gas tube, and the barrel nut.

You can also convert a standard FSB to a setscrew style and machine a couple flats on the barrel at the set screw interface.

If you want it installed with taper pins, you will want to send it to a professional that has a jig to align the front sight and then use the proper reamer for the taper hole.

The YHM one is inexpensive and totally reliable.

I'd go with the new arms sight: www.armsmounts.com/catalog.php?action=124&item_id=104

YHM would work though.  It's funny, YHM stuff always looks like cheap junk on the internet.  But all their stuff I've seen in person is totally gtg.

Center the rear sight, and 'eyeball' the front.  Take to range and zero.
